Deadline for submitting the application for the 1st round
The deadline for submitting application for the school year 2021/2022 has been set to March 1st 2021. The applications should have been sent by registered mail on the prescribed form (to be downloaded from here) with a postmark no later than from March 1st 20201 or preferably in person at the school secretariat (Mojmírovců 1002/42 Ostrava-Mariánské Hory; the secretariat is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). It has been also possible to scan the application form and send it to email@example.com by March 1st 2021 and present the original copy on the day of the entrance examination.

Entrance examination date for the 1st round
Entrance examinations for the 2021/2022 school year in the 1st round of the admission procedure will take place in the building of the PRIGO Language and Humanities Grammar School (Mojmírovců 1002/42, 709 00 Ostrava – Mariánské Hory) for the 6-year grammar school on May 5th 2021 and May 6th 2021, and for 4-year grammar school on May 3rd 2021 and May 4th 2021. Substitute dates for excused candidates are June 2nd 2021 and June 3rd 2021. The invitation for the uniform entrance examination, which is issued by CERMAT, and all other necessary information about the school entrance examination, or alternatively about the headmaster’s decision of recognition of the admission procedure, will be sent in writing by post and also by e-mail no later than 14 days before the examination, i.e. until April 19th 2021, depending on the date of issuance of the invitation by CERMAT (subject to change).
Applicants are reminded of the obligation arising from the General Measure No. MSMT-4337/2021-7 issued by the Minister of Education on 6th April 2021 whereby it is possible to take the entrance examination only if:
- the applicant has no symptoms of COVID-19, and;
- he or she presents a negative POC antigen or RT-PCR test not older than 7 days before the date of the entrance examination.
According to the Article IV. of the Extraordinary measure No. MZDR 14592/2021-1/min/kan issued by the Minister of Health on 6th April 2021, the school in which the applicant is currently enrolled as pupil (your primary school) is obliged to test the applicant.
Therefore, we ask all the candidates to bring the result of one of the above tests to the entrance examination, otherwise we will not be able to admit them to the examination.
